Create Your Own FEP Resource Library
Encourage your family to find important information for each family member for reference as you lay out your Family Education Plan. You can organize your resources according to the FEP's three areas of focus:
-
Basic needs - Character & Values
- Learning Skills
Identify resources that you and your children are most interested in, such as the site for their schools and district, email address and actual address for your local library, age appropriate book lists, school and community calendars, or mentoring/tutoring assistance.
Obtain a copy of the school policy and school curriculum guide for your FEP Resource Library.
You can also research activities your family would like to participate in such as service and humanitarian projects, holiday events or community celebrations, sporting events or city recreation programs, or other classes that the family might like to attend.
